Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Bulgaria, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Bulgaria showed varying trends among the top five Android applications, as per data from Sensor Tower.

Baly | Order Taxi and Food experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 1.8K in early September. This growth was mirrored by an increase in active users, which climbed from approximately 2.3K at the start of the quarter to over 5.3K by the end.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a stable download pattern, with a notable spike to 1.3K in late September. Weekly active users, however, showed a decrease, dropping from 8K to around 6K over the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 964 in late September. Active users remained strong, with numbers rising from 9.2K to over 10.4K.

TUDA — order a ride had fluctuating download numbers, with a significant peak at 1.1K in late September. Active user numbers also varied, showing a rise from about 4.3K to 4.2K by the quarter's end.

Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more showed modest download numbers, peaking at 212 in mid-September. The active user base saw a slight increase, reaching 704 by mid-September.
